TSHA

TSHA is a London based producer who is quickly emerging as one of the most exciting young artists around. Naturally self-sufficient and independent, TSHA has previously chosen to self-release her work, however thanks to recent well received releases and impressive DJ sets, TSHA has since signed to Counter Records, the imprint of London label Ninja Tune, and home to acts including Howling and Maribou State.

“Sacred,” TSHA’s most recent release to date was picked up by publications including Data Transmission, Electronic Groove and Gorilla vs Bear and was chosen by Bonobo to feature in his mix for the inaugural ‘fabric presents’ series which has now replaced the longstanding ‘fabriclive‘ series — news of which was covered by the likes of Resident Advisor, Pitchfork, Exclaim! and Clash. The launch was celebrated with a 4 hour Bonobo set at Fabric with TSHA supporting alongside Throwing Snow.

2019 has seen TSHA perform at All Points East (UK), Baltic Weekender (UK), Anjunadeep Explorations (AL), Lost Village (UK), We Out Here (UK) and Nova Batida (PT). This autumn she returns to Printworks with Hunee, Antal and Motor City Drum Ensemble and is scheduled to play three of The Warehouse Project’s new Mayfield Depot events including the opening weekend as well as both the Annie Mac and Mura Masa showcases alongside the likes of Special Request, Disclosure, Eclair Fifi, Annie Mac, Denis Sulta, Mura Masa, Joy Orbison, Nightmares On Wax and many more.

TSHA hosted a monthly show on tastemaker radio station Worldwide FM run by British mainstay, Gilles Peterson who has booked TSHA to play his brand new festival We Out Here in August. TSHA has also hosted shows on Rinse FM (UK and France) and Reprezent. TSHA’s music has been supported on the airwaves by peers such as DJ Seinfeld, Elkka and George FitzGerald (BBC R1 Residency).

Support across digital platforms has been strong for TSHA with backing from Spotify including additions to editorial playlists such as Chillout Lounge (1M), New Music Friday UK (731K), Electronic Rising (342K), Ibiza Sunset (320K) and The Wind Down (172K). TSHA currently curates her own Spotify playlist titled Dusk Till Dawn which features an eclectic mix of artists including Jon Hopkins, Suzanne Kraft, Axel Boman and Channel Tres.
